ALL OF MY FAVORITE BEAUTY PRODUCTS RAN OUT AT ONCE.
If this has happened to you, I’m sure you can picture my struggle. Face only half-blended, lips lined begging for lipstick, neck bared for a spritz…but all the vessels were empty.
Not a good look, let me tell you.
Sephora in the early morning is heaven (had the whole shop to myself LOL)! Here are the three products I picked up!
NAKED SKIN ONE & DONE: Hybrid Complexion Perfector
I had been using a tinted moisturizer from a small boutique for many years. Honestly, it was nothing special. The coverage (even with their matching concealer) was dismal, and the color match was definitely a little off. While battling troubled skin, I’d always been afraid that trying something new would only cause more acne. Before starting my last job, I stopped by Sephora in the Prudential Center. I had no idea what I was looking for other than a change – a better fit.
A lovely lady in the store steered me toward NAKED SKIN ONE & DONE: HYBRID COMPLEXION PERFECTOR. It felt so good, so smooth on my skin, LIGHT was the absolute perfect match for my skin tone, and the coverage (even with just a small amount) was there without the cakey-ness. The ultimate test had been watching and waiting for potential breakouts. THERE WERE NONE. My skin has actually never looked better! Can’t say for sure if it’s this product, but it isn’t hurting!
Laura Mercier: Lip Parfait Creamy Colourbalm
Like most women, I’ve tried hundreds of lipsticks, stains, glosses, and balms. But, at the moment Lip Parfait Creamy Colourbalm by Laura Mercier in Cinn-Ful touched my lips, I was ruined for all others. This product glides on with ease leaving moisturized, glossy, pigmented lips in its wake. It wears well (because we all want something that doesn’t disappear with one sip of coffee), and the color is the perfect cross between pink and nude. I’ve worn it with highlighted hair as well as my natural dark brown hair, and the shade has looked fantastic with both! So much so, that this is one product I might cry over if Laura Mercier ever discontinues it…
Chanel: Mademoiselle Perfume
My signature scent has always been Chanel Mademoiselle. There’s something about this fragrance that invites curiosity. It’s a light scent, but interacts with an individual’s skin to enhance a delicious spicy note. I’ve lost count of the number of people who have stopped me and asked what I scent I use. What better proof of wearability could you ask for? I guess that’s why no matter how much I love Cinnabar and La Vanilla, I always seem to come back to Chanel.
If you’re tired of your usual scent or looking for a great stocking stuffer, a small bottle of this is THE way to go! One spritz is all you need for the day, so it will last you a while!
SHOP THE ALL GREY MONOCHROMATIC LOOK
When I role out of bed, I tend to go for the monochromatic looks (less room for error LOL). While I’m usually partial to all-black ensembles, head-to-toe grey/silver is a festive change for this time of year! I actually picked up this grey suede choker at TJ Max on my way into Sephora…
