Let’s talk fitting in fitness.
One of the many New Year’s resolutions I penned this year went something like this: Commit to working out every single day ( instead of only fitting it in when you feel like it LOL).
My career as a Realtor does interesting things to my schedule. I try to keep some semblance of structure, because it keeps business steady and my workflow smooth. Yet, the very nature of my business is flexibility – serving clients how and when they need me. This makes a routine workout plan pretty much impossible.
I try to lock in cycling, yoga, and other classes at the gym any time that I can, but to consistently commit to fitness meant that I needed to seek out some different on-demand resources this year.
Enter “Yoga With Adriene” on YouTube.
Finding a new yoga instructor I love is like striking gold. And one with a whole bunch of free, quality videos on YouTube? It’s a pretty rare occurrence.
Adriene has a plethora of videos ranging from beginner to expert in intensity levels. They are of varying lengths – perfect for when you have only 20 minutes or a whole hour to spare in between appointments. Her sequences are elegant and well-thought out, and she has a wonderful voice for gentle instruction. Plus, they are filmed nicely – fantastic quality!
I love her gentle yoga video and quite a few others!
Given the fact that so many people are fighting colds and the flu this season, I figured I’d offer up her video “Yoga For When You Are Sick”. I can’t wait to go through this one myself!
Let me know how you like Adriene’s yoga classes – and if anyone has any other Youtube yoga favorites, I’d love to hear them!
