Let me just start off by saying HELLO AGAIN!
August was one hell of a month work-wise – The real estate market in the Somerville, Cambridge, Boston areas is just booming! Click To Tweet – and I am THRILLED to be blogging again.
I hope everyone enjoyed Labor day and the official end of summer!
Now that it’s over, it seems like most of the bloggers out there are tumbling boots, sweaters, and PSLs first into Fall… In spirit, I’m right there with them. I love me some pumpkin carving, caramel apples, and the whole ‘cozy aesthetic’.
But I’m seriously rebelling with the abrupt turn of Fall Fashion in my off-duty hours.
It’s hot and 87 degrees one minute, pouring buckets the next, and then the temp drops below 60 and I’m left shivering in the flip flops I’m too stubborn to store away just yet.
Nothing you wear seems right when your standing between two lovely ladies in Starbucks – one in jeans and a long cardigan while the other’s still rocking her Daisy Dukes, and flouncy crop top.
So my fashion advice for this weird in-between weather is this:
Don't dress for the crisp Fall air just yet! Pair a summery piece with something very fall. Click To Tweet A sweater with shorts and flip flops. A sundress with a cropped jean jacket. A pair of ripped jeans and flats with a tank top. My favorite in-between look is the sweater dress with flip flops pairing as shown above.
I’m absolutely LOVING this Free People sweater dress. You can find the Find Your Love Pointelle Mini Sweater Dress here.
And these Ralph Lauren sunglasses are pretty much glued to my face whether I’m at work or at play. They suit both business and off-duty attire perfectly, and I love the true oversized shape!
PS. YOU NEED TO VISIT THIS LOCAL HOTSPOT
In each of these pictures, I’m seen hanging around the Langham Hotel in Boston. You need to check this place out. I absolutely adore this hotel, and have stayed in their spacious rooms on multiple occasion. But their Sunday brunch is certainly what stands out as spectacular. Lobster omelets and mimosas anyone?
I’ve yet to check out Bond, the restaurant and lounge. Anyone been? Worth a trip?
